Cairo University President Mohamed Othman Elkhosht participates in the activities of World University Presidents Forum which is convened in the period from May 2 to May 6, 2018, at Beijing, China. Nearly 137 global universities from the six continents of the world participate in the forum. Cairo University delegation includes the Manager of Confucius Institute at Cairo University Rehab Mahmoud.
Cairo University President meets many world university presidents in the conference including Wales University, Beijing University, and Cambridge University to discuss establishing joint scientific degrees in the international branch of Cairo University at 6th of October City. Cairo University celebrated laying the foundation stone of Cairo University international branch on April 29, 2018, with a number of ministers, public figures, and academics attending.
Cairo University President said that his discussions with Wales, Beijing and Cambridge universities presidents revolve around establishing joint scientific degrees in languages, business administration, agriculture, engineering, and advanced technology.
