
Concerning the State Award of Merit in Sciences, Cairo University Council has approved the nomination of Professor Ahmed Mahmoud Farag, Professor of Faculty of Science, in Basic Science Field, Professor Azza Mahmoud Kamel, Professor of National Cancer Institute, in Medical Sciences Field, Professor Mahmoud Gharib Al-Sherbiny, Professor of Faculty of Engineering, in Engineering Sciences Field, and Professor Ahmed Abdul-Moneim Hasan, Professor of Faculty of Agriculture, in Agricultural Sciences Field.
Respecting the State Award of Merit for Advanced Technological Sciences, Cairo University Council has approved the nomination of Professor Mohamed Wahi-el-Din Abdullah, Professor of Faculty of Science, in Basic Sciences Field, Professor Hussein Mustafa Khaled, Professor of National Cancer Institute, in Medical Sciences Field, Professor Samir Ibrahim Shahin, Professor of Faculty of Engineering, in Engineering Sciences Field, Professor Mohamed Atef Shehata, Professor of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, in Agricultural Sciences Field. Professor Fathy Hasan Saleh, Professor of Faculty of Engineering, has been nominated for the State Award in Arts Field, Professor Abdul-Hakim Mohamed Rady, Professor of Faculty of Arts, has been nominated for the State Award of Merit in Literature, and Professor Hamed Taher, Professor of Faculty of Dar El-Ulum, has been nominated for the State Award of Merit in Social Sciences.
