
Cairo University Vice-President for Education and Students Affairs Mohamed Osman El-Khosht said that ،،EGPs 1, 850, 000 were allocated by Central Social Solidarity Fund – Cairo University. This allocation is to cover the study fees of those students who are unable in the academic year 2016/2017 and buy prosthetic apparatuses for those students with special needs and fund social solidarity funds at faculties. In addition, EGPs 4, 000, 000 were allocated to fund Students Hospital throughout 2016/2017 to provide students with therapeutic requirements and follow-up chronic diseases cases. ,,
Cairo University Vice-President for Education and Students Affairs said that ،،the fund paid student fees during 2015/2016 reaching EGPs 1,004,480, which eight thousands students benefitted from. Additionally, prosthetic apparatuses were bought for some of disability challenger students costing EGPs147, 533. Moreover, hostel fees were paid for some students reaching EGPs 64, 719. Furthermore, Central Social Solidarity Fund funded Students Hospital with EGPs 3,200,050 to buy medical and therapeutic requirements for students. ,,
Noteworthy, the income of Central Social Solidarity Fund – Cairo University is approved by bank rentals and outlets at the university campus.
