Cairo University witnesses international publication ceremony (second version) for 2017 on December 18, 2017. It is sponsored by Cairo University President Mohamed Osman Elkhosht and Cairo University Vice-President for Postgraduate Studies and Research Amr Adly. New group of faculty members and researchers of Cairo University different faculties and institutes are honored for their scientific research papers published in the name of Cairo University at international level in 2017. Cairo University puts effort into supporting international publication and encouraging faculty members in different scientific sectors to publish their research papers in the university name at international level which contributes to enhancing the order of Cairo University in World University Rankings.
Cairo University President distributes international publication awards and certificates of recognition among researchers of different academic sectors in the second version of 2017with Cairo University Vice-Presidents, faculty deans, and faculty members attending the ceremony. Cairo University honors faculty members publishing their research papers in scientific journals ranked at international level twice per year and provides funding that supports international publication which annually increases amounting to more than EGP 15, 000, 000 in 2017.
Cairo University President said that the rate growth of Cairo University international publications greatly contributes to enhancing Cairo University position in world university rankings and maintains its academic good name among higher education foundations abroad. He pointed out that Cairo University is concerned with scientific research system. It allocates suitable financing for research system and gives priority to applied research projects that are economically profitable.
Elkhosht added that Cairo University funded autonomous research projects for 2017 and held innovation and invention competition for university students.
Cairo University Vice-President for Postgraduate Studies and Research Amr Adly refers to the increase in rates of Cairo University research published at international level and researchers publishing their research papers in international periodicals and journals. He said that Cairo University allocated awards for the best faculty in international publication by funding some research projects supporting national income.
