On 28/6/2012, Ph.D. thesis, by El Sayed Mohamed Abdul Rehim, entitled" The Coastal Plain of the Red Sea from the Egyptian Sudaninan Boundaries Northern to Ras Abu Shagarh Southern (A study in Applied Geomorphology), has been discussed at African Studies and Research Institute, Cairo University. It is supervised by Prof. Dr.\ Amal Ismail Shawar, Prof. Dr.\ Aziza Mohamed Ali, and Attia Mahmoud Mohamed. Committee of Judgment and Discussion is composed of Prof. Dr.\ Mamdouh Tohamy Aql, Prof. Dr.\ Azza Ahmed Abdul Allah, Amal Ismail Shawar, Aziza Mohamed Ali, and Attia Mahmoud Mohamed.
