Prof. Dr.\ Gaber Nassar, President of Cairo University, has witnessed a graduation ceremony of two classes of Malaysian students of Faculty of Medicine, Kasr Al-Ainy in the Expatriates Day which is organized by the faculty at Ceremonies Hall at the faculty. It has been attended by Malaysia's ambassador at Cairo, Dr.\ Hussein Khairy, Faculty Dean, Dr.\ Amina Borhamy, Faculty Vice Dean for Education and Students Affairs, the coordinator of Malaysia program, staff members and students.
The ceremony included two classes of the current year and the previous year as the number of the graduates of the two classes reached 224 students. Malaysian students participated in the graduation ceremony with artistic and folkloric shows. The number of Malaysian students in the Faculty of Medicine is 365 students in different study years according to an agreement signed with the Malaysian government which decided to dispatch Malaysian students to study medicine at Faculty of Medicine, Kasr Al-Ainy.
