Within The continuous improvement and qualifying for accreditation program in projects management unit for higher education development, the Egyptian governmental universities recognized that the importance of the international publication in upgrading the Egyptian governmental universities scientifically and globally, and in order to achieve the objectives of the third phase globalization and excellence, so it is established a new source to fund the competitive awards for academic staff in the Egyptian governmental universities, and that for excellence in the Scientific Publication which involved raising abilities of research and scientific publication in the universities at level globally, as well as raising the international classification for the Egyptian universities.
There are (20) awards that about (100, 00) pounds per one award, the reward divides for the winning research into two halves: the first half cash (50) thousand pounds awarded to the authors of the research and the second half (50) thousand pounds and that for supporting the research environment in advanced research institution
While Continuous Improvement and Qualifying for Accreditation Program in Projects Management Unit for Higher Education Development opened the application for Excellence in Scientific Publication Awards for the published researches in 2010 and 2011 for Egyptians academic staff at the faculties and institutes of the Egyptian governmental universities.
