On Thursday, March 12, 2015, Faculty of Law – Cairo University has celebrated and honored 5 classes of the faculty graduates at Grand Celebration Hall, Cairo University. The celebration was attended by Professor Gaber Nassar, President of Cairo University, Professor Omar Salem, Dean of Faculty of Law, the faculty vice deans, academic staff and honored students.
Nassar has said that Faculty of Law has broken the record as 3 Presidents of Republic, 1 Secretary General of the UN, 13 Chairmen of Parliament, 12 Prime Ministers, 58 Ministers of Justice, 23 Foreign Ministers, 32 Ministers of Education and Higher Education, 19 Ministers of Social Affairs are graduates of the faculty. Thus, the faculty has a great influence on its society thanks to its professors, administration, employees and students.
Finally, AbdulRahman El-Kedwany, student of Faculty of Law, has recited a patriotic poem, entitled “Colors” which won the admiration of attendees. Then the ceremonies of honoring the holders of doctorate and master theses in law have started, as well as honoring the most outstanding students of the faculty.
The President of Cairo University thanks Cambridge for the courage shown in its return to fairer assessment methods, which restored the world’s confidence in it.
