Cairo University President Inaugurates The First Stage for Developing Cairo University Center for Printing, Publishing and Distribution Costing 10 Million EGPs

On Monday, June 1, 2015, Prof. Dr.\ Gaber Nassar, President of Cairo University, is going to inaugurate the first stage of developing printing hall and machines at Cairo University Center for Printing, Publishing and Distribution in the presence of Cairo University Vice Presidents and Professors, at 11 a.m.


Cairo University Center for Printing and Publishing includes four stages including the first stage of updating the printing hall completely and providing it with modern machines costing 10, 5 million EGPs. The second stage preparation is currently conducted to include providing the printing press with modern production lines for digital printing.


Noteworthy, Cairo University Printing Press was established in 1948, then it became a special unite that enjoys artistic, financial and administrative independence since 1987. In 1995, Supreme Council for University approved the integration between Cairo University Printing Unite and Cairo University Publishing Center under the name of (Cairo University Center for Printing and Publishing). The center is specialized in providing the university's needs of printing university books, scientific researches, periodicals, journals, and different prints.
