The Minister of Islamic Endowments, Dr. Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa, is to be hosted on March 1, 2016, at Cairo University among the university cultural season activities sponsored by Prof. Dr. Gaber Nassar, Cairo University President. It is an open seminar and dialog, entitled،،Misconceptions that should be Corrected,, to be held at Grand Celebration Hall. Additionally, an exhibition at the University for the Higher Council of Islamic Affairs books is going to be held during the period from February 27 to March 2. Discounts of 25% are going to be allowed for students as the university is boosting discounts for students to reach 75%.
Prof. Dr. Gaber Nassar, Cairo University President, announced that it has been agreed upon printing 10, 000 copies of ،،Misconceptions that should be Corrected,, , a book by Dr. Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa, to be distributed among students for free.
Cairo University announced that cultural and artistic season activities during second term are going to be full of open intellectual, scientific and cultural meetings with students, staff members and employees in participation with elite of thinkers and scientists. This includes a meeting with Minister of Culture, Helmy Namnam, on March 14, 2016, and a meeting with Minister of Islamic Endowments, Dr. Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa, during the same month. Grand Celebration Hall – Cairo University witnesses a number of artistic and musical activities in cooperation with Ministry of Culture and Cairo Opera House, and a concert by Hany Shaker on March 15, 2016.
