In the context of the societal activities of Cairo University students, sponsored by Prof. Dr. Gaber Nassar, Cairo University President, a delegation of Cairo University students visited Maadi Military Hospital and met the injured of the terrorist attacks at Northern Sinai, including Armed Forces officers and soldiers as well as civilians undergoing treatment at the hospital. The students were reassured about their health conditions and expressed to them their sincere wishes for a speedy recovery. The students confirmed their support to the role of Egyptian Armed Forces in facing terrorism and their full appreciation of the role they play in protecting the homeland and supporting its stability. Prof. Dr. Said Daw, Cairo University Vice-President for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs, accompanied the student team, and Maj. Gen. Reda Fadel, Popular Defence Force Commander, Maadi Military Hospital Director, and Col. Alaa Morsy, Military Education Director, at Cairo University, attended the visit.
