Cultural Activity Administration, at Youth Care Administration – Cairo University, organizes cultural heritage festival, entitled "Authenticity and Heritage", at 10, 30 a.m., Sunday, April 10, 2016, in front of the university dome, until April 13, 2016.
The festival is sponsored by Prof. Dr. Gaber Nassar, Cairo University President, and sponsored by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Osman El-Khosht, Cairo University Vice-President for Education and Student Affairs. Many governmental universities such as Al-Azhar University, Ain Shams University, Helwan University, Benha University and Fayoum University participate in the festival; Higher Education Ministry and Arts Academy participate as well. Many Arab and African states also participate in the festival, such as, Palestine, Yemen, Sudan, Republic of South Sudan, Chad and Mauritania.
The festival opening starts with a show in front of Cairo University dome, and artistic programs are to be presented. The festival is going to include cultural heritage exhibition inauguration for the participating delegates and wall charts arbitration at exam halls inside the university campus. This was said by Hasan Seada, the General Director of Youth Care Administration – Cairo University.
Seada explained that the festival also include Holy Quran and Hadith Competitions and information tournament, as well as cultural round tables and artistic shows at the university hostel theatre. The participating delegates are going to visit one of the landmarks of Giza. Seada added that shields, medals and awards are going to be distributed at the conclusion of the cultural festival that also includes artistic programs for the delegates at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at the University Hostel Theatre.
