Cairo University condemns the terrorist accident that targeted Boutroseya Church at Abbaseya on Sunday morning. The attack resulted in innocent martyrs killed and others injured during the Catholic Mass Prayer.
Cairo University said, in its statement, that ،،such criminal terrorist acts will never discourage the sons of homeland to stand as one in confronting terrorism that seeks destabilizing the safety of the country.,,
The university said ،،these expiatory criminal groups prove that terrorism does not separate the sons of homeland and cannot sow the seeds of discord between Muslims and Christians as it clearly conveys a message that the whole country is targeted.,,
Cairo University added that ،،the university, including administration, academic staff members, employees and students, denounces these terrible acts and demands intensifying efforts for a comprehensive counterwork against terrorism, rooting out terrorism and besieging funding sources of terrorism.,,
Cairo University presents condolences to the families of the martyrs who fell victims to this coward terrorist act and expresses its wishes of a speedy recovery for the injured.
