Cairo University Participates at Cairo International Book Fair

Cairo University participates at Cairo International Book Fair currently held at Exhibition Grounds, Nasr City. The university is represented at the fair by a special section that includes a group of the most important translated books from English, French, Deutsch, Hebrew and Persian issued by Center for Foreign Languages and Professional Translation. Those translated books are issued within Cairo University project for translation sponsored by Cairo University President Gaber Nassar. The project is aimed by Cairo University at the foundation of a beacon for intellectual and cultural creativity in different fields of human knowledge.

This was conveyed by the Director of Center for Foreign Languages and Professional Translation – Cairo University Amany Badawy. She referred to the variety of books fields and authors that the center participates with at the book fair, including psychology, philosophy, history, literature and corpora such as the corpus of translated Talmud from Hebrew into Arabic. Cairo University section at the book fair also encompasses books, writings and periodicals for Faculty of Archaeology, Faculty of Dar El-Ulum, Faculty of Mass Communication, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Commerce and Faculty of Education for early childhood.
