Cairo University President Inspects Renewals, New Establishments at Faculty of Pharmacy for Educational, Research Process Service

Cairo University President Gaber Nassar made a tour at Faculty of Pharmacy inspecting renewals and new establishments at the faculty within the framework of his visits to the faculties of Cairo University to follow-up the works of development and updates. The renewals include three new research laboratories including a laboratory for solutions preparation and two computer laboratories as well as the renewal of eight comprehensively established laboratories for educational and research process service.


Nassar inspected the comprehensive renewals at Pharmacology and Toxicology Department, Faculty of Pharmacy, Biotechnology Center, Ali Ibrahim Hall and Scientific Seminar Hall being accompanied by the Faculty Dean Ayman Al-Khatib.


Nassar inspected some study and computer halls, research laboratories, student laboratories, the new laboratory for medicine preparation simulation and student activities halls including fitness hall.


Cairo University President was reassured that all air conditioners were collected at the faculty yard, the backyard is renewed, the faculty new fire water pipeline which uses a tank of 110 m2 capacity is run and provided with two motors for pumping water with 7.5 HP, the electricity network is comprehensively renewed as well as thirteen surveillance cameras.


Faculty of Pharmacy Dean Ayman Al-Khatib made a presentation, during the tour, explaining the updating and development work conducted at the faculty in 2016 for educational and research process service at the level of lectures and seminars halls, laboratories, computer halls, student activities, student laboratories and research laboratories. The Faculty Dean made the presentation during a meeting held by Cairo University President and Faculty of Pharmacy professors.


Faculty of Pharmacy is one of Cairo University earliest accredited faculties by National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education.
