Cairo University faculties got prepared for the beginning of the second term for 2016/2017 on Saturday, February 11, 2017. All the faculties finished study schedules preparation and announced schedules. Faculties also finished curriculum preparations to provide students with them.
Cairo University administration revised the medical clinics at some faculties and provided each clinic with a physician and nurse. Cairo University hostels equipment are revised and maintenance work at them are finished during the mid-year vacation.
Cairo University President Gaber Nassar said that ،،nearly 90% of Cairo University students results were announced and the rest of results will be announced during the first week of second term.,, Prof. Dr. Gaber Nassar urged the regularity of the educational process from the first day of the second term. He also urged that deans follow up study progress and activate student activities at faculties. Nassar referred to the continuity of the cultural and artistic season of the university during the second term by a group of seminars and lectures for senior thinkers and writers. Nassar also talked about organizing some artistic ceremonies for students and starting a reading project for them as well as launching a new version for Iqraa Competition during the second term.
It is scheduled that Cairo University organizes a competition between students, employees, and academic staff members on combating corruption. Award is allocated for the best poster designed by the competition participants as well as another award for the best research that includes mechanisms for combating corruption and means of prevention.
Cairo University Vice-President for Education and Students Affairs Mohamed Osman said that ،،a program has been prepared for student sport, artistic and cultural activities at faculty level or Cairo University level during the second term as well as the university preparation for participating in Ebdaa 5 competition.,,
Cairo University Vice-President referred to Social Solidarity Fund, at Cairo University, that will examine the requests of paying study fees for the students who could not pay them due to their financial case.
