Cairo University organizes awareness week initiative of animal care from April 2 to April 6 in cooperation with The Egyptian Federation for Animal Welfare (EFAW). The initiative is sponsored by Cairo University President Gaber Nassar who opens the initiative activities at 12 p.m., at Faculty of Commerce Theater, Cairo University campus.
The awareness week includes issuing a new perspective for dealing with stray and street animals. The activities include competitions and monetary awards of EGP 5, 000 for the two faculties that perform brilliantly in the activity presented during the week activities. There are also four awards which value amounts to EGP 10, 000. The competition includes logo and poster design that expresses animal care as well as a mini video on the same topic.
