Faculty of Science at Cairo University organizes a seminar, entitled ،،Ideas on Future Earth,, , as a cultural activity, on Sunday, April 9, 2017, at 11 a.m., at Ibn Sina Hall, Faculty of Science, Cairo University campus.
The seminar is sponsored by Faculty of Science Dean Al-Sayed Fahim, Faculty of Science Vice-Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Tarek Al-Arabi. Professor of Astronomy at Faculty of Science, Cairo University, and Vice-President of The International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics (IUGG) Ahmed Abdel-Hady delivers a lecture in the seminar. A group of academic staff members of Faculty of Science and some figures who are concerned with astronomy will also participate in the seminar.
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Hady said that ،،the seminar tackles many topics most prominent of which are modern cities by the year 2063, human health and brain builders, scientific exhibitions and the emergence of international unions, and the global dimension of sustainable development.,,
Professor Abdel-Hady added that ،،the seminar is one of the most important scientific ones that tackle human future which is exposed to danger like future earth by the year 2063.,,
