Cairo University President Mohamed Osman Elkhosht decides keeping the privileges of academic staff members and employees concerning medical care and medicine as are. He pointed out that ،،The medical services that academic staff members and employees are provided with through Medical Care Fund are irreversible.,,


Cairo University President urges retaining the advantages to academic staff members and employees as are without resorting to imported medication except when there is shortage in Egyptian alternative.


This is discussed during the meeting of Cairo University President with the Board of Directors of medical care fund for employees and academic staff members on Tuesday, August 29, 2017. The meeting is attended by Cairo University Vice-President for Community Service and Environmental Development Saeed Daw, the Director of Kasr Al-Ainy Hospital Nabil Abdel-Maqsoud, the Director of University Hospital Ahmed Sobhy, Faculty of Medicine Vice-Dean Khaled Makin, Faculty of Pharmacy Dean Ayman Elkhatib, the Director of Students Hospital Khaled Ramadan, the Director of National Cancer Institute Hospital, and Cairo University Secretary-General Yousry Ibrahim Amin.
