Cairo University Receives Latvian Ambassador in Cairo to Discuss Aspects of Cooperation

 Cairo University Vice-President for Postgraduate Studies and Research Amr Adly receives Ambassador of Latvia in Cairo Iveta Šulca. The meeting tackles means of fostering cooperation between Cairo University and Latvian scientific universities and foundations in some scientific research fields related to engineering, renewable energy, information technology, distance learning, and medical research.


Prof. Dr. Amr Adly enunciates that Cairo University welcomes cooperation with Latvia universities. He pointed out that the university, chaired by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Osman Elkhosht, is keen on fostering cooperation with global universities in education development, distance learning, and joint scientific research especially in renewable energy, engineering, and medical research.


Adly added that Cairo University is one of the universities enlisted in World University Rankings. He pointed out that Cairo University joins international universities in developed study programs that are ranked at international level in engineering and business administration. He said that Cairo University welcomes students from other states to study in Cairo University within joint agreements or scholarships.


Latvian Ambassador Iveta Šulca refers to the concern of higher education institutions in Latvia in cooperating with Cairo University, as one of the major universities in Middle East, by joint scientific research, students exchange, and multiple academic cooperation.
