Cairo University organizes a ceremony at Grand Celebration Hall for honoring the students winning Arts 1 and Olympiad Competition launched by the university for its students over November and December. The ceremony is attended by professors and students.
Cairo University President said that student unions and activities are an inseparable part of the university mission. He pointed out that the university environment should work on developing different personal aspects of students to help forming new generation of scholars, intellectuals, artists, and sportsmen. Elkhosht illustrated that Cairo University allocated, this year, the largest budget in Cairo University history for financing different student activities. He added that Cairo University competes for score number 1 for students in all competitions especially Ebdaa competition and achieving results worthy of Cairo University and its students.
Cairo University President said that students winning cultural and artistic activities are being honored at Grand Celebration Hall; a place worthy of them and they are worthy of. He pointed out that soft power elements include art, culture, sport, social work, gawala, science clubs and all the activities practiced by students. Elkhosht said that student activities are an inseparable part of university student personalities besides educational process as human is an integrated group of emotional, ideological, and physical aspects. Ideal students have integrated personalities that are able to develop different aspects in their selves.
