QS World University Rankings shows in its report, published on February 28, 2018, that Cairo University progresses and reaches advanced places in 16 academic programs with 6 programs more than the ranking results of last year 2017. Cairo University progress shows up in the list of best 5 academic sectors at international level.
QS Ranking inserted the 16 academic programs as the best at world level. Architectural Engineering comes in the category 101 – 150, Chemical Engineering comes in the category 251 – 300, Languages in the category 251 – 300, Civil Engineering in the category 151 – 200. Medicine comes in the category 251 – 300, Pharmacy comes in the category 101 – 150, Mathematics in the category 351 – 400, Business Administration in the category 251 – 300, Law in the category 251 – 201, Computers and Information comes in the category 301 – 350. Electrical Engineering and Electronics comes in the category 201 – 250, Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering comes in the category 251 – 300, Agricultural Sciences comes in the category 201 – 250, Biological Sciences comes in the category 301 – 350, Chemical Sciences comes in the category 301 – 350, and Physics and Astronomy comes in the category 351 – 400.
QS Report shows occupying Cairo University for advanced global rankings at academic sectors level in 5 academic branches. Cairo University reaches 349 place in Arts and Humanities, 231 place in Engineering and Technology, 239 in Medical Sciences, 400 in Natural Sciences, and 251 – 300 in Social and Administrative Sciences.
