Department of Japanese Language in faculty of arts wins the Japan Foundation for 2011

 The Japanese Language Department won, Faculty of Arts, Cairo University, the Japan Foundation Award for Japanese in Tokyo in 2011 in recognition of the significant contribution which is done by the department, the university since its inception in 1974, in the development of Japanese language education in Egypt and the development of cultural communication between Egypt and Japan. The award was accompanied by the amount of three million Japanese yen to support more activities and educational programs within the division. The selection committee of university professors, artists, educators and business leaders from around the world have developed a final list of decided to choose the Japanese Language Department, Faculty of Arts, Cairo University for the award.
