A celebration will be held on Wednesday, June 19 to honor a new group of staff members of different faculties and institutes of Cairo University. This is for publishing their scientific researches by the name of Cairo University in scientific periodicals and journals internationally ranked during 2012. Cairo University works on motivating staff members to publish their researches at international level. This is intended so that the world got introduced to their researches and to enhance the university's status in the academic ranking of world universities. The activities of the celebration will be held at Grand Celebration Hall, Cairo University, at 12 p.m. Dr.\ Husam Kamel, President of Cairo University, will distribute certificates of recognition and international publication awards among about 700 researchers for publishing 1560 researches in different scientific fields during 2012. Noteworthy, Basic science sector, engineering sector, and medical sector have got the largest share of published researches.
