Dr. Amant Badawy, Professor of the English Department at Cairo University, has started her new duties as a new manager of Center for Foreign Languages and Professional Translation – Cairo University succeeding Dr. Mohamed Othman Al-Khosht who received his new duties a cultural consultant of Egypt in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a manager of Egyptian Cultural Bureau at Riyadh.


Center for Foreign Languages and Professional Translation is one of the most important centers of Cairo University. This because of its work in culture and translation field through its several activities concerning knowledge and humanities and translating reference books from the Arabic Language and to it, as well as training students and developing their skills to prepare them for labor market.


The center has achieved in the last three years the highest rate of growth at the level of Cairo University centers counting 168 centers.


Dr. Amany Badawy has pointed out that she will work on keeping the status of Center for Foreign Languages and Professional Translation – Cairo University as a cultural beacon serving as a bridge of knowledge communication locally and internationally through developing and boosting the activities that the center makes in fields of culture, translation and training.
