Modifying the value of financial contributions to the faculty members to attend conferences abroad
The Council of the Cairo university has reviewed its regular monthly ordinary resolution the Supreme Administrative Court to cancel the decision and the Minister of the Interior to establish the Department to guard the university under the Ministry of Interior within the University of Cairo, the Council stressed its respect for the provisions of the judiciary with the pursuit of the university to harmonize the implementation of governance and the requirements of the university to protect and secure the facilities and resources.
The remarks were made. Hossam Kamel, Chairman of University Council following a meeting under his chairmanship on Wednesday, 27/10/2010, pointing out that being treated with the sentence and provide a suitable alternative without prejudice to the provision of security at the university.
Council decided to Cairo University to modify the value of financial contributions to the faculty and ancillary staff for attending conferences, seminars, meetings and workshops abroad to be 5 thousand pounds for the Arab States and 10 thousand pounds for European countries and 14 thousand pounds for the Americas.
The Council approved the establishment of a research unit to develop scientific research, scholarships and support missions, Faculty of Economics and Political Science. The Council also approved the cooperation agreement between the University and the Institute of Political Studies in Paris in the field of research and training programs between the University and the International Islamic University Malaysia in the exchange of faculty members and students and information.
The Council also approved a set of appointments and promotions and the granting of title to a number of science faculty members of various faculties of the university
