Military Museum Restoration Project is Ascribed to Cairo University

Cairo University announced initiation of carrying out the military museum restoration project at the castle within a few days. The project has been ascribed by Armed Forces Engineering Authority to Monuments Maintenance Center, Cairo University. This has been declared by Dr.\ Gaber Nassar, President of Cairo University, pointing out that the project includes structural reinforcement and uplifting efficiency of interfaces of the military museum and restoration work of the museum costing 18, 000,000 EGPs.     



Dr.\ Mohamed Hamza, Dean of Faculty of Archaeology and Head of Monuments Maintenance Center, has declared that the center has been assigned to carry out this project which many companies applied for because of its previous experience in restoration work. He said that within a few days the agreement will be signed with Military Work Administration which is subordinated to Armed Forces Engineering Authority to carry out the project through the center which includes a group of experts who work in monuments restoration and maintenance field.
