Cairo University Council approved in the meeting on Wednesday, 29/12/2010 chaired by Dr. Hossam Kamel (president of the university) the nominations for the national awards for colleges and institutes for year 2011 in the fields of science ,advanced science , technology , arts, literature and social sciences.
In the Mubarak Award, the Board approved the nomination of Dr. Mr. Mohamed Fouad Tawfik professor at the Faculty of Agriculture in the field of science , Dr. Hussein Ibrahim Anis, Professor, Faculty of Engineering , Dr. Mahmoud Hashim, professor National Institute for Laser Science of the field of science and technology developed Wad. The Faculty of Engineering,Professor Raafat in the field of Arts, Dr. Mahmoud Mekki professor at the Faculty of Arts in the field of literature and Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud El Gohary professor at the Faculty of Arts in the field of social sciences.
For the State Award in Science, the Council approved the nomination of Dr.Muhammad Asad Muhammad professor at the Faculty of Science in basic sciences , Dr.Samir Abu Russian professor at the Faculty of Agriculture in Agricultural Sciences , Dr.. Jamal al-Din Muhammad Esmat professor at the Faculty of Medicine in Medical Sciences, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Suleiman, Professor in the Faculty of Engineering Science Engineering,
the State Award in the science and technology advanced, the Council approved the nomination of Dr.Mohamed Waheed Abdullah Professor in the Faculty of Science,Dr. Mohammed Fawzi Professor in the Faculty of Agriculture, Agricultural Sciences , Dr. Mohammed Jamal Al-Din Darwish professor at the Faculty of Computers and Information in Engineering Sciences , Dr. Amal Mohamed Al Bishlawi professor at the Faculty of Medicine in medical science.
The State Award in the Arts and Arts and Social Sciences, the Council approved the nomination of Dr.. Fathi Hassan Saleh, Faculty of Engineering Professor of the Arts , Dr. Mohammed Ali Ahmed Fattouh, professor at the Faculty of Dar Al Uloom for the Arts, Dr. Ahmed Yusuf Ahmed, Professor, Faculty of Economics of the social sciences
