Lectures of Open Education, Cairo University, starting on 28/9/2012 have been met with interest by former and newly admitted students. Open Education Center has completed all the arrangements of starting study at Cairo and its other branches at governorates in its faculties, as well as new programs; new six programs that have been issued by Open Education Center, Cairo University on first term of 2012/2013. Four programs are for Faculty of Art; Applied Sociology, Press, Electronic Archive, and Theoretical and Applied Philosophy, as well as two programs for Faculty of Kindergarten; Teachers of Special Education of Early Childhood Preparation Program, and Early Childhood Teachers Preparation Program.
Besides the current six programs of Open Education Center; Financial and Commercial Deals (Faculty of Commerce), Legal Studies (Faculty of Law), English, Hebrew, French, and Spanish Translation (Faculty of Art), Arabic Language (Faculty of Dar El-Ulum), Media (Faculty of Mass Communication), and Land Reclamation Technology (Faculty of Agriculture).All studies of the new programs have been prepared in order to make them suitable for the system of Open Education Center, the capability of presenting them to students, as well as the societal need for these new programs.
