Under the patronage of H.E. Atef Helmy, H.E. Sayed Abdel-Khalek, H.E. Sherif Hammad, and H.E. Gaber Nassar, The 2014 9th International Conference on Informatics and Systems, INFOS2014, organized by Faculty of Computers and Information – Cairo University, will be held on 15-17th December 2014, at Cairo University Conference Center.
This international conference series started since 2003 and is held every two years. The conference is technically sponsored by IEEE and is co-sponsored by the Academy of Science and Technology and ITIDA. The main research areas of interest this year are: Software Engineering – Challenges of Openness, Computer Networks, Parallel and Distributed Computing, Natural Language Processing and Knowledge Mining, Data Engineering and Knowledge Management, as well as Operations Research and Decision Support.
99 papers were submitted to the conference, out of which 66 papers were accepted, with 66.7% acceptance.
