Guest House has been inaugurated at the university campus on 29/11/1983 in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hasan Hamdy Ibrahim, former President of Cairo University.

Guest House no. (2) has been inaugurated at University Hostels playgrounds on 26/6/1996 in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mufid Shehab, former President of Cairo University.

Conference Hall has been inaugurated at The University Hostel on 24/2/1998 in the presence of Prof. Dr. Farouk Ismail, President of Cairo University.

Guest Houses and Conference Hall are intended to:

1. Servicing meals and hot beverages for staff members, their assistants, and employees of Cairo University.

2. Facilitating stay of staff members of Egyptian universities and foreign visitors of Egyptian universities.

3. Holding ceremonies of different occasions and luncheons of Cairo University.

4. The ability to service other universities, centers of scientific research and the Supreme Council of Universities according to the approval of the administrations council.

5. Conference Hall is the place where conference, symposiums, scientific and cultural courses, of faculties, institutes of Cairo Universities, other Egyptian universities, institutes and scientific research centers that are subordinated to Ministry of Higher Education, Ministry of Scientific Research, and other scientific and cultural organizations, are held.

6. Hosting shows, scientific and cultural festivals at Conferences Center.
