The Scientist Mustafa Al-Sayed and Gouida are the Most Prominent Attendants of the Cultural and Artistic Season of the Second Term at Cairo University

The commence of the educational process and the regularity of second term study at faculties have been followed-up by Professor Gaber Nassar, President of Cairo University, and Deans of the university faculties. The university president has confirmed the importance of increasing student activities, caring about student skills development programs, and finishing the announcement of all first term results as scheduled by the end of February 2015.
Nassar has held a meeting with the administrative security leadership at the university. He stressed securing the lecture rooms and halls before starting lectures, as well as securing the yards where students gather. President of Cairo University anticipates that the second term will be better and more stable. He lauded the security system of the university pointing out that Falcon Company has controlled entering the university campus. He said that magnetic cards will be made for students, employees and staff members, however, this may take some time. Allowing students in, this year, will be through university IDs. It is scheduled that Nassar will make a tour in a number of faculties starting by February 9, 2015.
On the other hand, the university will complete the activities of the cultural and artistic season during the second term when the university will host the Egyptian scientist, Professor Mustafa Al-Sayed, in a lecture on science on February 12, 2015, at the Grand Celebration Hall. It will be followed by an evening, entitled “In the Presence of the Poet Farouk Gouida” with Farouk Gouida, the poet and journalist, on February 16. A concert will be performed by Al Takht Arab Band which will be held at Grand Celebration Hall on February 18. The university theaters witness a number of plays which will be performed in agreement with the Ministry of Culture as well as Children’s Choir Egypt, conducted by the Maestro, Selim Sahab, in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth.
