Cairo University Signs Cooperation Agreement with Hiroshima University

 Yesterday, on December 21, 2015, an agreement was signed between Cairo University and Hiroshima University, including joint cooperation between the two universities in research and education projects fields. The agreement was signed in the presence of Cairo University Vice Presidents, Hiroshima University Vice President for International Relations, a number of professors, Prof. Dr. Gaber Nassar, Cairo University President, and Prof. Dr. Mitsuo Ochi, Hiroshima University President.


Prof. Dr. Gaber Nassar declared that Cairo University received an invitation from Japan to visit Hiroshima University to promote cooperation in specific fields concerning scientific research and exchanging academic experiences. He also pointed out that Cairo University wants to deepen cooperation with the Japanese institutions that work in education and scientific research field based on partnership.


Hiroshima University President said that Cairo University is considered the largest and most important university in the Middle East and Africa, pointing out that the two universities have joint cooperation plans, especially that Cairo University has a number of Hiroshima University graduates. He added: We came to convey a message of peace.  


A shield was presented by Nassar to Hiroshima University President, who made a tour in Grand Celebration Hall – Cairo University accompanied with his delegation.
