Faculty of Science First Egyptian Educational Institution to Receive ISO Certificate

Cairo University President Gaber Nassar announced that Faculty of Science – Cairo University received the ISO certificate 9001/2015. Faculty of Science is the first educational institution in Egypt to win the new version certificate ISO/2015. Cairo University President added that the eligibility of Faculty of Science crowned the efforts of its professors for it is the most contributing faculty to research publication in the name of Cairo University at the international level. 

Faculty of Science Dean El-sayed Fahim said that the faculty became among the first 100 global institutions to win the new version certificate. He pointed out that the faculty met all the prerequisites necessary for the certificate.

Faculty of Science Dean confirmed that the faculty started development plan and laboratories equipment at the most modern levels including providing the faculty with computers and developed laboratories. The dean pointed out that the development is conducted at three stages to be boosted by the university and society. The first stage includes renewing 7 computer laboratories. The second stage includes developing 7 chemistry laboratories. In addition, 20 laboratories are going to be developed at the rest of the departments by the aid of the technical experience of military production and the development of both ،،Waly,, and ،،Moshref,, auditoriums. 

Faculty of Science – Cairo University received academic accreditation from National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education in 2015.
