Faculty and Leadership Development Center at Cairo University Launches New Series of Training Courses for New Journalists Nominated for Enrollment at Journalists Syndicate

A new series of training courses for journalists nominated for enrollment at the Syndicate of Journalists is launched at Cairo University as a result of a protocol signed between Cairo University, headed by Prof. Dr. Gaber Nassar, and the council of Journalists Syndicate. The Journalists Syndicate Council is aimed at training journalists, before enrolling them at the Journalists Syndicate, at Faculty and Leadership Development Center at Cairo University. The center holds training courses that qualify for enrollment at the Journalists Syndicate by delivering practical lectures that include the fields of media legislations, skills of journalistic writing and art, computer skills, the English language and the Arabic language.

The Director of Faculty and Leadership Development Center Amr Mostafa said that ،،the new series of new journalists training program before enrolling them at the Journalists Syndicate encompasses nearly 210 journalists from different newspapers. It is held at two periods in morning and evening for two weeks starting from Saturday, February 4, 2017, at the center headquarter at the campus.,, Dr. Amr Mostafa pointed out that ،،nearly 750 journalists have been trained since signing the protocol in January 2015 until now according to a partnership agreement with the Journalists Syndicate which is aimed at training 1200 journalists annually at the center.,,  

Dr. Amr Mostafa added that ،،the center got 5 international accreditations in the fields of management, training, and professional development quality. It encompasses some professors and experts including professional trainers having international accreditation in the fields of training and skills development.,,
