Cairo University and MCIT Discuss Cooperation Protocol Signature for Developing University Service Systems

Cairo University President Mohamed Osman Elkhosht and Minister of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) Yasser ElKady discuss cooperation protocol signature between Cairo University and MCIT at the office of the minister at the Smart Village. The cooperation protocol is to bring a major shift in student, administrative, and academic services at Cairo University to transform Cairo University to a full smart university, and operationalize technology solutions to run the university work with all its different aspects. The protocol is intended for reaching practical applications and new ideas that suit the nature and activities of Cairo University through unified technology systems.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Osman Elkhosht said that a teamwork will be formed between Cairo University and MCIT to study cooperation styles and prepare executive plan to start the project within days of protocol signature.

The meeting is attended by MCIT Infrastructure Sector Director Raafat Hendy, the Manager of Center for Knowledge and Electronic Services (CKES) Haitham Safwat Hamza, and Assistant Secretary General for Cairo University Administrative Affairs Amr Elbeltagy.
