Cairo University President Meets Student Union Council to Develop Mechanism Supporting Student Activities during Second Term

 Cairo University President Mohamed Osman Elkhosht holds a meeting with Cairo University Student Union Council in its new formation at Ahmed Lotfy Elsayed Hall. Cairo University President starts his speech with welcoming Student Union Council members pointing out that their election was conducted democratically by the choice of their colleagues.


The meeting discusses the general framework of student activities during second term, extending participation base among students in different activities, and the union participation in cultural activities and cultural artistic season presented by Cairo University to students. The meeting assures that Cairo University supports student union. Cairo University President talks about the current stage which requires alertness and awareness of challenges, threats, and risks facing the country and student awareness of positive participation in homeland building regarding economic, political, and social aspects, in addition to awareness of participating in democratic process. Cairo University President pointed out that student political awareness does not mean practicing partisan policies inside the university, but it means awareness of political rights and duties towards homeland.


Prof. Dr. Mohamed Osman Elkhosht listens to the ideas of Cairo University Student Union Council and their suggestions for the coming stage regarding student activities and extending participation base among students. He assures to Student Union Council that their requests and aspirations will be realized for the sake of student service.
