Cairo University President: ،Firm Procedures for Work Discipline at Kasr Ainy to Guarantee Waiting Duration Reduction for Patients

 Cairo University President Mohamed Othman Elkhosht holds a meeting with hospitals managers. Elkhosht urges them to carry out all the instructions of Higher Education Minister Khaled Abdelghaffar who issued them during his visit to Kasr Ainy Hospital emergency on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. Cairo University President decides to take the following measures:

First: Abide by preparing daily schedules for medical and nursing shifts, submit them every day to Cairo University President, and put them on announcements board.

Second: Establish specific system for recording patient cases, follow them up, and supervise them.

Third: Take effective measures to reduce the waiting duration at emergency departments.

Fourth: Investigate with absentees of medical cadres without excuse.

Fifth: Make effective bylaw for penalties and apply them strictly.

Sixth: Reform Cairo University Hospitals Development Committee headed by Cairo University President Mohamed Othman Elkhosht to add follow-up to its work and appoint Faculty of Kasr Ainy Dean Fathy Khodair as committee reporter.

Seventh: Consider all quality standards in medical service presentation.
