Cairo University Condemns the Terrorist Attack on Border Troops

Cairo University mourns Egypt's armed forces martyrs who have been martyred on Saturday during confronting terrorist elements at New Valley Governorate. The terrorist accident resulted in 21 martyrs and 4 injured.  In a statement released on Sunday, Cairo University expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the Egyptian people and the martyrs' families, asking Allah to bless them with His mercy. The following text was in Cairo University's statement: Cairo University's family; its president, vice deans, professors, employees, and students condoles the Egyptian people and families of Egypt's martyrs of armed forces men, victims of the perfidious terrorist attacks which targeted one of border troops' points near Farafra Oasis at New Valley Governorate. The attack resulted in 21 martyrs and 4 injured. Cairo University also expresses its condolences to martyrs' families, asking Allah to bless them with His mercy. It also expresses its sincere wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.

Cairo University stresses that those criminal terrorist acts will never deter the Egyptian people from building their future and uprooting black terrorism from its roots. The university condemns such despicable acts of terrorism and, at the same time, estimates the sacrifices made by military and police forces to protect the country and fight against terrorism. May Allah protect Egypt and its people.
