Faculty of Urban Planning - Cairo University has Got Quality Assurance and Accreditation

 Dr.\ Gaber Nassar, President of Cairo University, has declared that Faculty of Urban and Regional Planning – Cairo University has got National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education after meeting all academic criteria for quality requirements according to authority measurements. Therefore, Faculty of Urban and Regional Planning is the fifth faculty which gets Educati on Quality Assurance during 2014 after Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Faculty of Physiotherapy, and Faculty of Science. 

Dr.\ Nassar has said that the university faculties which have got quality assurance are now 11 faculties they are Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Physiotherapy, Faculty of Science, and finally Faculty of Urban and Regional Planning. Thus, 50% of Cairo University’s faculties have gained quality assurance. He also pointed out that there are a number of faculties are nearly identical to quality requirements throughout the coming period, namely; Faculty of Computers and Information and Faculty of Archaeology.
