President of Cairo University Inspects National Center for Toxicology and Students Flock to Perform Narcotic Substances Analysis

Dr.\ Gaber Nassar, President of Cairo University, has inspected National Center for Clinical and Environmental Toxicology – Cairo University where university students, who are candidates to reside at university hostel, conduct analysis of narcotic substances which was decided by the university as a condition for residing at university hostels. Nassar was reassured about facilitating analysis procedures conducted for students and sending the result to the university hostel at the same day. He met a number of students who flocked to the center and assured them that analysis is in the interest of students. President of Cairo University has stressed the necessity of finishing analysis procedures to students quickly and easily.

The administration of National Center for Clinical and Environmental Toxicology has declared that the total number of students since starting analysis conduction on Saturday, October 11until October 15, has reached 4354 students including 1957 males and 2397 females. The administration of the center has underlined that there were no objections to the procedures of the analysis. The administration of the center did not disclose any cases proved to take narcotic substances. About 13000 students who are candidates to reside at university hostels which are subordinate to Cairo University are to perform narcotic analysis tests.
