H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi Is Offered Honorary Doctorate by Cairo University

H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah and Member of Supreme Council of Emirates Union, has been offered honorary doctorate by Cairo University.

The ceremony has been attended by Dr.\ Nabil Elaraby, Secretary-General of the Arab League, Minister of Manpower and Immigration, Minister of Health, Minister of Military Production, Minister of Higher Education, Minister of Culture, and a number of public, artistic and media figures.

Al Qasimi received English and Arabic PhD. copies from Prof. Dr.\ Gaber Nassar, President of Cairo University, and signed his name in the honorary doctorate record of Cairo University.

Cairo University Council has approved in its decision review to offer Al Qasimin honorary doctorate in social sciences field due to his interests in arts and literature, as well as boosting homeland and nation issues and supporting Egypt and its people. 

Cairo University has presented Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi the literary book of honorary doctorate of Cairo University, as well as "Egypt in My Mind" book which includes quotes of his history, and it also presented him University symbol "Cairo University Dome".
