Cairo University Organizes Medical Convoy for New Valley Governorate in all Specialties

Cairo University organizes an inclusive medical convoy for New Valley Governorate in cooperation with Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine and Faculty of Pharmacy in four days starting from Thursday, February 9, 2017, until Sunday, February 12, 2017. The convoy is sponsored by Cairo University President Gaber Nassar and supervised by Cairo University Vice-President for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs.

The convoy includes 25 physicians in different specialties to serve the residents of New Valley Governorate. The convoy encompasses the specialties of dermatology, general surgery, pediatrics, endemic diseases, neurology, cardiology, internal medicine, pulmonology, ear and nose, orthopedics, and dentistry.

Physicians sign free patient examination, dispense free medicine for them, perform surgeries for some patients, and provide families with medical and nutritional counseling through this convoy.

This convoy comes within the framework of Cairo University societal role activities presented by Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, at the University.
