Nassar Inspects Cairo University Academic Staff and Employees Housing Project at Sixth of October City

Cairo University President Gaber Nassar said that ،،Cairo University allocated nearly EGP1,000,000,000 for establishing the international branch of Cairo University at the Sixth of October City. The branch encompasses specialized faculties and programs in partnership with international universities. Extracting the licenses of the branch establishment is in progress.,,

Nassar inspected the location of Cairo University Academic Staff and Employees Housing project near Juhayna Square at the Sixth of October City. He witnessed the opening of fitness salon at Faculty of Commerce, Sheikh Zayed Cairo University Branch. He said that ،،Cairo University Academic Staff and Employees Housing project started with establishments at Sheikh Zayed City on 175 acre area with a distinctive architectural shape at Juhayna Square at the Sixth of October City. The project is being carried out at different areas for apartments with providing areas for gardens and service places.,,

Nassar pointed out that ،،Cairo University started carrying out the project in September, 2016, after allocating the land, extracting licenses, and providing the land with facilities. It is scheduled that the establishments are finished and the residential apartments are handed over to participating members within four years,,  

Nassar opened, during his visit to Sheikh Zayed, the fitness salon for Faculty of Commerce students at Sheikh Zayed Cairo University Branch. The fitness salon is equipped in cooperation with Ministry of Youth and Sports on 250 m2 area. The salon encompasses 22 training machines and different fitness tools under the supervision of athletic specialists. The opening of the fitness salon was attended by Cairo University Vice-President for Community Service and Environment Development Saeed Daw, Faculty of Commerce Dean Ehab Abu-Eish, Cairo University Secretary-General Youssry Ibrahim and some professors and students. A computer laboratory was opened for serving Faculty of Commerce students at Sheikh Zayed Branch.  

Cairo University President participated, with students, in the sports day held by Community Service and Environment Development Sector at Sheikh Zayed Branch. The sports day includes running and fitness competitions and bicycles marathon which the professors, students and employees of the branch participated in.
