A republican decree is issued by Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah Elsisi for appointing Prof. Dr. Abdel-Hamid Wagdy Abdel-Aziz a Dean for Faculty of Science Cairo University until retiring.

Cairo University President Mohamed Othman Elkhosht extends his congratulations to the new dean and discusses with him his plan to develop the faculty within the strategic plan of Cairo University at educational, academic, and research levels.
