 In the context of the initiative of reaching out development goals of the millennium that is carried out by Cairo University in cooperation with the United Nations' Development Program, aiming at developing youth's awareness of development goals and engaging them in solving problems of society and upholding principles of volunteering among them,  starting by 10/9/2012 until 13/9/2012, Community Service Sector, Cairo University organizes new course in developing students skills, entitled "Implementation of Green Cities Concepts at New Urban Communities" , in cooperation with Faculty of Regional and Urban Planning, Cairo University, and the United Nations' Development Program.

Prof. Dr.\ Heba Nassar, Cairo University's Vice President for Community Service and Environment Development will witness the inauguration of the course's activities at Faculty of Regional and Urban Planning, at Cairo University's campus. Prof. Dr.\ Ahmed Youssry, Dean of Faculty of Regional and Urban Planning, Prof. Dr.\ Abdul Allah El Erian, Head of the project of reaching out development goals of the millennium, Cairo University, a number of specialized professors, experts, program coordinators at Cairo University, and participating students will also attend the activities.
