Cairo University Donates 20 Million EGPs to Tahya Masr Fund Account

 In its meeting on Monday, June 30, 2014, headed by Dr.\ Gaber Nassar, President of Cairo University, Cairo University's Council has decreed that Cairo University should participate in boosting Long Live Egypt ''Tahya Masr" initiative by donating 20 million EGPs to fund Long Live Egypt ''Tahya Masr'' account.

Cairo University's Council has decided to form a higher committee for the automation and digitization of the university. It is headed by Dr. Ahmed Darwish, provided that the Committee is based on timeframe and executive mechanisms specified from finishing the preparation of an integrated project to digitize the university and establishing an information system linking all university faculties and centers, sectors and departments with unified information rules.

The university's council has approved a mandate solar energy research center at the Faculty of Engineering to measure the various loads of the university and the ability to use solar energy to generate electricity at the university and using it in lighting places such as university hostels the central library.
