3 Million and 821Thousand EGPs Aids for Students During the First Term

Professor Ezz-ul-Din Abu-Steit, Vice President of Cairo University for Education and Students Affairs, has declared that 3 million and 821thousand EGPs have been encashed from the Social Solidarity Fund of Cairo University for boosting student care services during first term of year 2014/2015. Million EGPs have been earmarked for boosting The Students Hospital for providing all what it needs of medical necessities and medicine for offering its therapeutic services at a good level for the university students.
Tuition fees reimbursement costs and financial aids for more than 9000 students from different faculties have reached about 2 million EGPs, as well as purchasing compensatory devices and providing therapy for some students. Abu-Steit has pointed out that the university works on developing fund resources through renting sales outlets at the university campus for satisfying social care needs of students, which is the purpose for which the fund was established. The fund continues to perform its role in offering aids and social care for the university students unable to afford tuition fees.
