Cairo University President Reviews First Term Exams Work Progress Reports

Prof. Dr. Gaber Nassar, Cairo University President, reviewed the reports of first term exams work progress over the second week at faculties of the university. Cairo University President confirmed the importance of taking all the procedures needed to provide the requirements of comfort for students to perform their exams until their end, as well as providing special committees for students with special needs and patient cases. 

Cairo University President stressed the importance of faculty adherence to applying the university council resolution concerning cheat penalties and unifying them at faculties of the university. He also emphasized that the students who did not pay study fees should be given the opportunity to enter their exams, provided that they pay them in the second term.

In the same context, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Othman Al-Khosht, Cairo University Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, said that a daily report is being prepared by faculties on exam work, including the numbers of attendants and absentees among students, as well as cheat cases. Complaints regarding exams are followed-up through this report.  Al-Khost said that first term exams are calmly running at faculties, and no restrictions or problems were detected in this respect except for some individual cheat cases which noticeably decreased compared to previous years as a result of strict penalties approved by the university council concerning cheating or trying to cheat.
