Cairo University President Inspects Transfers Central Office

 Cairo University President inspected the work of Transfers Central Office – Cairo University which continues in receiving transfers requests of university top-ranked students. The office started its work on August 2, 2016, receiving transfers requests according to the rules approved by Cairo University Council regarding student transfers to the university faculties in 2016 – 2017. The rules approved by Cairo University Council states that the student general grade of transfer to Faculty of Engineering and medical faculties should not be less than excellent, very good for other practical faculties and good for theoretical faculties. This is in the framework of the rate determined by the council of every faculty according to its capacity, and the priority is for the students who got higher marks in general grades. Students should abide by proving their stay place in the geographic domain of Cairo University. There are no transfers to Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Faculty of Mass Communication, Faculty of Dar El-Ulum, Faculty of Archaeology, Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine and Faculty of Computers and Information.

Cairo University President met, during his tour of inspection, some students who want to transfer to Cairo University faculties and some parents who want to transfer their sons.

Transfers Central Office – Cairo University received requests until August 11, 2016, that reached 440 students most of whom wants to transfer to Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Law and Faculty of Commerce. The office work continues until the end of August.
